Well, that didn't hurt much

I've blended my blogs.
Hopefully, it'll be healthy and tasty.
I've just finished merging three of my four blogs into this one.  Along the way, I wanted to pretty it up with some styling a little more... modern than the standard themes Blogger has on offer.  I ended settling on BMag. But even then, I just couldn't leave it alone; fortunately, the tweaks were minor. BMag isn't a free theme, but I could afford it.

Getting the widgets right was not particularly painful.

The worst part was cleaning up the tags.  My other blogs have been in existence in one form or another since 2008; I'm stunned by how my tagging habits have changed over that time.  I basically had to go through every post and reset the tags.  I know, maybe a bit obsessive, but that's how I roll. Rule #1: everything matters, all the time.

There's still some work to do.  That last blog will probably not be merged, but rather new posts will appear here.  A few more pages need to be generated.  Some pages need to be taken apart and rebuilt elsewise.  But so far, it's looking good.

Since this new blog covers some fairly disparate topics, it may well be that some people won't want to read all the posts.  I can't do anything about email notifications, but RSS feeds can, thankfully, be tailored.  I've written up a short page with some key RSS feed links here.  Help yourself.
