Doctoral students within different areas of mobile HCI are invited to take part in the Doctoral Consortium at MobileHCI 2018. The Doctoral Consortium (DC) will take the form of a workshop where the students have the possibility to present and discuss their doctoral research with leading MobileHCI researchers. The purpose of the DC is for the students to receive constructive feedback on their thesis work, get advice about future developments, and share ideas and experiences with peer students in related areas. Successful applicants will have the opportunity to present their work as a poster. Participants will be selected based on their anticipated contributions to the breadth and depth of the intellectual discussions of the consortium. To maximize the benefits from the DC, participants should have advanced beyond the early stages in their thesis research, but not yet be in the finalizing phase of their work.
