I've had it with the American Right

Let's be clear: I don't subscribe to "conspiracy theories" even though some RWNJs like to accuse me of that when I bring up Russian control and influence in the US.

I don't bring up Puttano Putin because I know his regime has cyber-invaded the US (although I certainly believe it). I do it to annoy, irritate, and deride the fetid GOP, Drumpf, and all his fuckbuddies. I do this because it's is all they deserve.

Some people think even that is wrong, because I should take the high road and not lower myself to their level. But that's foolish, because the "high road" is littered with figurative corpses of well-meaning people run down by busloads of Deplorables.

And then there's those who think that, as a non-American, I should just shut the fuck up. Well, that doesn't work either because (a) the US isn't the only country suffering at the hands of ignorant, selfish "populists", (b) Drumpf is a significant enabling force for other RWNJs around the world, and (c) as the US descends into the cesspool of populism, it's dragging the rest of the world down with it.

So fuck 'em all. The American Right is a bag full of cats. They're incoherent, irrational, selfish, regressive, superstitious, privileged, flaccid, fimicolous megalomaniacs. They have abdicated all their rights to have a say in anything more important than whether they'd "like fries with that."

(This is not to say that the US Left is pure as the driven snow, but the problems of the Left are different and I'll write about those some other time.)

If and when they get their shit together and start treating others with respect and empathy, when they start making cohesive arguments based on evidence, and when they start to recognize and address their own biases - then I'll start listening to them again.

Until then, fuck 'em all.
