The journal Architecture_MPS is published by UCL Press and hosted by Ingenta. The journal is fully open access and double peer-reviewed, and it is the journal of the international research organisation AMPS (Architecture_Media_Politics_Society).
The journal publishes two volumes per year. Each volume contains four issues. Individual issues are published on the first day of each month during the publication cycle.
We are calling for articles for the forthcoming Volume 12, Nos 1-4, October 2017 - January 2018
The journal Architecture_MPS is indexed with all the major relevant subscription databases, libraries and repositories sources: Avery Index; DOAJ; EBSCO Art Source, Art Full Text, and Art & Architecture Complete; Ulrichsweb; JURN; British Library Web Archive and ALDL - Agency for the Legal Deposit Libraries.
Journal themes revolve around the relationship of architecture and the built environment with questions of the politics, media and society. Multidisciplinary papers are welcomed as particularly pertinent to the journal's diverse perspective. Areas of interest include (but are not restricted to): architecture, urbanism, regeneration, new technologies, heritage, cultural and political identity, socio-cultural symbolism, mediated representation and environments.
Historical papers should seek to draw contemporary issues into their debates.
