Special call for THEME TRACKS.
The Design Management Academy 2017 International Research Conference is organised under the auspices of the Design Society’s Design Management Special Interest Group (DeMSIG) and Design Research Society’s Design Innovation Management Special Interest Group (DIMSIG) in association with DESMA network and in collaboration with: Hong Kong Polytechnic, Loughborough University and Delft University of Technology.
The general theme of the 2017 conference is ‘Academic Perspectives on Creative Intersections.’ This is a follow up conference to 2012 and 2014 Design Management conferences organised by members of the upcoming DMA 2017 Hong Kong. The dates of the conference are 7 to 9 June 2017.
The aim is for the theme tracks sessions is to provide the specific research themes for the Call for Paper submission.
Proposal should consist of:
To allow us to incorporate the track themes into the Call for Papers, the theme track session proposals should be submitted to dma@designmanagementacademy.com on or before the Wednesday 10th August 2016.
Theme session proposals will be reviewed by the programme committee. Successful themed track proposals will be publicised on the website as part of the conference call.

- a themed track session title
- a proposed 3 to 5 sub-chairs for the session who together with the chair will oversee the review process for theme track submissions
- a theme track session outline to provide a context (up to 250 words)
- a brief list of references to indicate the theme track session’s scope
