Deadline for submission of proposals: EXTENDED 30 September 2017
We are pleased to invite You to participate to the 20th Generative Art International Conference at MAR, the Museum of Art in the city of Ravenna, Italy the (12)-13-14-15 December 2017. The exhibition will take place in an exhibition hall of the MAR and Performances will take place at the Classense Library, near the MAR.
If you like to share with us your scientific and creative works and your experiences, please, send us a proposal of paper, artworks, installation, poster and/or live performances (the template is in the website).
Starting from 1998, Generative Art conference is the international leading meeting involving researchers and creative people performing generative advanced approaches. It is organized by the Generative Design Lab of Milan Polytechnic University and by the Argenia Association. As in the 19 previous conferences, our choice is to have ONLY ONE MAIN SESSION (3 days) with around 40 paper presentations, an exhibition at an exhibition hall of the Museum of Art with discussions and presentations and an evening generative live-performances at the Classense Library, one of the most important historical libraries in Italy. This because we like to increase the possibilities of knowing each other, of exchanging experiences and crossing opinions. We don't like parallel sessions and all accepted people will be like keynote speakers.
Around 900 papers, together with artworks and live performances, presented at previous conferences are on the GA website for a free consultation.
The DEADLINE for sending your proposals (papers, posters, artworks/installations, live performances) is the 15th of September 2017 and we are sure that, with your contributions, GA2017, the 20th Generative Art meeting, will be, once more, a place where ideas, results, and opinions will be exchanged and where meeting people working with similar approaches in a wide range of different disciplines will be possible.
